Cherokee’s Last Football Game

The Last Football Game

Recently the Cherokee Indians had their last football game. But this game wasn’t special just because it was their last game,  the thing that was special was there was a B team game against Carver-Jarret. This is special because Cherokee hasn’t had a B team game in 10 years. Though the B team had lost this game they still had hope for the 8th-grade team against the Bolivar Liberators. The game Against the Liberators was very exciting because the 8th graders had won 22-14. With their quarter-back Rex Deters, and their receivers Dane Prost, Rhett, and Easton Mcglocklan, they made some great plays with Rex throwing it deep multiple times and our receivers impressing everyone by making great catches. This has been a great season for the Cherokee Indians going 2-1-1 for the 8th graders and the 7th graders going 1-4. We hope that the Indians will keep getting better each year but for now, the season is over and they performed great.
