Super Bowl 2020: San Fransisco 49rs vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Super Bowl 2020: Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49rs

What a game for the year!! Super Bowl 2020 was one of the greatest Super Bowls ever! This was the first Super Bowl win for the Chiefs in 50 years. The first quarter of the game was intense. Jimmy Garoppolo had a few incomplete passes but had great plays. In this quarter Richard Sherman had a great block for Damian Williams. With less than two minutes left in the first quarter, all you heard was “TOUCHDOWN CHIEFS!” Patrick Mahomes’ touchdown left the first quarter score with three points for the 49rs and seven points for the Chiefs.

Now the second quarter, on the other hand, was great! Garoppolo made a great throw and Bashaud Breeland caught the ball! The 49rs weren’t too happy about this but they didn’t let one throw bring them down to the ground for the rest of the game. After this play, Patrick Mahomes threw the ball to Sammy Watkins and caught it at 3rd and 7. George Kittle hands the ball off to Tevin Coleman and runs it as far as he can ending at 1st and 10. Garoppolo then fakes a handoff and throws it to fullback Kyle Juszczyk, “TOUCHDOWN 49RS!” The 49rs made the last touchdown for the first half of the game, and it was tied 10-10.

“I’m on tonight, you know my hips don’t lie.” Shakira and Jenifer Lopez (J-Lo) take over the field and have an amazing halftime show. J-Lo made an awesome opening for the show. She came in with her songs, “Let’s Get Loud” / ”On the Floor” and the crowd loved it. We thought that was an entrance and then came Shakira with her songs, “Can’t Remember to “Forget You” / “Dare” / ”Beautiful Liar”. They had a few other songs that they sang and special guests J Balvin; Bad Bunny; Emme Muñiz helped make the show even better. Shakira’s song “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)” created a new TikTok sensation and has become the trend of the week.

What a comeback for Kansas City! Third-quarter was a big comeback Kansas City and they played really well. The Chiefs had their defense ready for anything that the 49rs threw at them. One of the big highlights of the third quarter was when the 49rs linebacker, Fred Warner blocked a pass to Patrick Mahomes by jumping and got the takeaway. The third quarter ended with the San Fransisco 49rs taking on the Kansas City Chiefs at 20-10

The Final Quarter of Super Bowl 2020 is here. The 49rs have some tricks up their sleeves. Patrick Mahomes throws the ball to Damian Williams and, “TOUCHDOWN CHIEFS!” Everyone thought that Williams’ foot was out, but the referees reviewed the play and it was for sure a touchdown for Kansas City. After Williams made the touchdown, the Kansas City Chiefs left the score at 49rs with 20 and Chiefs with 31. Andy Ried used his skills of running the clock and it led to a big win for the Chiefs. This game was quite a celebration for Missouri and Kansas City Chiefs fans in general.
