Giving in the Christmas Spirit

Do you have too many coats in your closets that are too small for you? Do you have non-perishable food in your pantry that your family doesn’t need? You can donate your coats that are still in good shape, that are either too small for you and your family or you don’t need or want it anymore. You can donate other clothes and your coats to the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army also takes recordings, compact discs, jewelry, shoes, purses and accessories, as well as collectibles, small antiques, and linens like sheets, blankets, pillowcases, and towels.

If you have non-perishable food items, like Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and canned foods, you can donate them to an organization called “The Kitchen”. They have a pantry for homeless people.  This Christmas, or Hanukkah, or whatever you celebrate, is a wonderful time to donate to those in need!
