Surely you’ve heard of the Prince of Darkness, right? AKA, Ozzy Osbourne? Maybe your parents listen to them, or even you.

Osbourne was part of the band “Black Sabbath,” which is considered the first ever metal band. They’re known as the “Godfathers of Metal” due to this. They originated in England in 1968, and most Metal bands started in the 70s and 80s.

Ozzy Osbourne sprouted in a solo career, and his most popular song is titled “Crazy Train.” Perhaps you’ve heard of it? Well, more than likely. Osbourne is an incredibly talented artist, with a talent that no one else has.

Osbourne is known to be crazy. Some remember his craziest moment to be when he was performing and bit a head off of a living bat. Ozzy joked, saying, “I got rabies shots biting the head off a bat but that’s OK – the bat had to get Ozzy shots.” Another hilarious moment from the Prince of Darkness is when he was asked if he listened to Justin Bieber, and he asked who that was in return.

Recently, Ozzy had come down with a hard case of pneumonia, weakening his system. He was thought to get better and had tour dates set up, in which he would be touring with iconic Thrash Metal band Megadeth in just a couple months

However, Ozzy had a serious injury, resulting in a surgery. This forced the icon to postpone the tours by an entire year, leaving his next show to be in May of 2020.

“I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates. Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not able to tour right now. “I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends, and fans. It’s really what’s keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day. I will fully recover … I will finish my tour … I will be back!”

Hopefully, the 70-year-old idol can recover and tour by next year. I hope you feel Ok, Mr. Osbourne. “Out of everything I’ve lost, I miss my mind the most!”
