Yoga is thought to have been invented in Northern India during the Golden Age, about 2,000 years ago. It has become one of the most popular ways for people who want to become more flexible, stronger, and lose weight to achieve their goals.

Some of the benefits of yoga include making you stronger, improving your balance, and increasing your strength. It also reduces stress and can improve self-confidence. Lucky for us we have a Yoga club right here in Cherokee!

Next year if you want to join, all you have to do is get a permission slip from Mrs. Doyle’s room in the 6th-grade hallway, fill it out, and give it to Mrs. Doyle! They meet the first and third Monday of every month. Yoga club is a great way to have fun with friends and get exercise. Yoga club is a great experience, I suggest joining next year!
