Many books are thriving at Cherokee Middle School, but there are a few books lucky enough to make the top three. Though all books have many good things about their story-line, these are the books that have been the most checked out this month.

Orbiting Jupiter by Gary Schmidt: Joseph is a thirteen-year-old boy with a daughter named Jupiter. He has never seen her before — Joseph would do anything to see his daughter. Jack’s family takes Joseph into foster care, and Jack wants to help Joseph find his daughter.

Orbiting Jupiter written by Gary. D Schmidt.

What Waits In The Woods by Kate Brian: Callie and her friends go on a camping trip. How could it go wrong? Well, things did go very wrong. Callie and her friends get lost, and their food is all gone. Thoughts about a “skinner” in the woods are spreading into Callie’s mind, especially becuase the skinner is said to live in the woods she’s in. When they see a dead body, things go badly wrong.

What Waits In The Woods, written by Kieran Scott

Forget Tomorrow by Pintip Dunn: In Callie’s time period you get a future memory. If you commit a crime in your future memory, they will punish you before it happens to make sure you don’t commit the crime. What happens when you’re seen killing your sister? Callie can’t bear to imagine, but she’s going to find out.

Forget Tomorrow by Puntip Dunn.

Last month, both What Waits In The Woods and Orbiting Jupiter were on the list of the top three. So it still looks like these books are hot! I have only read What Waits In The Woods and Orbiting Jupiter out of this list, but I plan to read all Truman books.

They send people there to make sure that they DO commit the crime.
