Being a veterinarian is fun, but at times sad. My mom is a vet and some of the perks are getting to watch a dog give birth or seeing a dog get a bath for the first time. My family owns Spring Valley Vet Hospital and I have gotten to seen puppies and kittens. It is really fun when my parents bring home an animal that we have to watch overnight – I have learned to feed and give the animals shots. If you don’t like blood then this is not a job for you because every Tuesday my mom’s day is full of different surgeries. During other days she sees other patients that just need daily check ups or shots. Do you think you would like being a vet?
